What a beautiful friend. Beautiful in so many ways as is evidenced by her obit. Her compassion for others was endless. I enjoyed talking with her at our 50th. So much water had passed by that I missed. I discovered a lot about her and her passion in helping others. What she did and why she did it reflects on her love for mankind as well as her Savior. I am SO proud to have known her are been even a small part of her life. We need many more Patty Birds in the world.
My heartfelt sympathy to Jim and the family. Patti and I shared wonderful high school memories and I will treasure her friendship always. We had opportunities to visit with Patti, Jim and their beautiful children when they lived in Ohio and also when they came to Florida in their converted school bus and later when they visited us while on their way to see their veterinarian daughter, Stacy in Florida. I am blessed to have had Patti in my life and to know Jim and their family.
